Intertent is expanding its management with the addition of Wouter Zick

As of January 1^st, he and Roland de Boer will comprise the tent rental company’s management team together. Zick will be focusing on the daily management of Intertent, whereas De Boer will continue to focus mainly on commercial affairs.

Wouter Zick is a valuable addition for Intertent; he is an extremely experienced manager who knows the tent rental and events industry like the back of his hand. After working for catering company Maison van den Boer, he switched to De Boer Tenten in Alkmaar, where he worked for nearly ten years, including many years of partnerships with Roland de Boer. Moreover, Zick owned his own hospitality business during the past couple of years in which he was involved with Amsterdam Fashion Week, catering company Cuisine on Tour, SAIL Amsterdam, and STRAND Festivals, and many others. De Boer: “We have made for a very successful team in the past, and are looking forward to continue that process within Intertent in the future. We will do so by always being a few steps ahead of our competitors, and constantly investing in new products and markets.”

25^th anniversary

The celebration of Intertent’s 25^th anniversary on 25 November last was an important milestone for the company. However, the two-man management team is not giving themselves a lot of time to sit back and reflect on the past. Zick: “We want to move forward, and as such we are investing a lot in continuing growth, both in the Netherlands and abroad, and particularly in Germany, where we have already founded a branch office. Our primary way of reaching this growth objective will be through servicing more events, but we will also be focusing more on corporate applications. We see plenty of opportunities for us to use our products and our unique services to structurally increase our market share and further expand on our current position in the top 3 of Dutch tent rental companies.”
